This starter kit will help you begin. Then you can start with the Greeks to get into philosophy. Pirate books and buy an e-reader.

Be honest: how many of these have you read?

Most of these will be good for you, anon.

Pick anything from this list and have at it. You've already got three down, actually. These really helped me to get back into reading when I first came to /lit/. If you don't already have one I would go out and buy an ereader; /lit/ books are exceptionally easy to pirate and a Paperwhite is perfect for learning words you don't know.

Shut up. Just because something is easy to read doesn't mean it's for "normies." That would be John Green or whatever else is selling from the youth section at B&N.

You most likely suck at reading so read these.

Welcome, anon. I'm glad that you've taken the first step in the right direction. It's true that you should start with the Greeks but it's unlikely that you have read any book at all recently. I'll post some charts for you that will give you an idea of where to start. If you're really serious about reading to better yourself and your worldview I recommend that you buy a Kindle reader. They have great tools for looking up unfamiliar words and things you don't understand. It's very easy to download .epub/.mobi files of just about any book you can think of. This is what I did in the winter of 2015 after having been a potential-wasting /v/irgin for so long and I've never looked back. If you can't buy an ereader I'd suggest going to a decent library nearby and getting a card. You've just got to start reading any way that you can.
