I need some introductory buddhist texts, preferably mahayana. The most basic/influential texts mostly, not the ancient or western commentaries. The diamond and heart sutra are nice but short. The four truths/eight noble paths i know about. The BDK english translations are good but idk where to start.
Also is Alan watts a meme? Seen threads praise and hate him. What are his best books?
