I'm bored of books

what should I read to fix this? The last time I finished a book must have been in like February. I tried reading The Old Man and the Sea but it was boring too. Books are just too boring for me nowadays. I need something fun to read like The Three Musketeers.

So anyone have any suggestions?

this was brought to my attention in another thread and i think it is a big issue so out of my respect for anon i made a new topic instead of derailing the other thread.

how can you guys read more than 1 book at a time? my theory is that if you read more than one book at a time you are either:

a) reading as a chore
b) reading to feel smart

people who read 1 book at a time read for fun, which is what reading should be about right?

>I could care less
means that they COULD care less, but they don't want to put the effort forth that requires not caring less because they don't care at all about the matter.

>I couldn't care less.
Just means that you don't care.

So why do people get so mad about the first one being "incorrect"? It seems more insulting imo.

>Teacher asks class what books they didn't like that were assigned last year
>Students say Invisible Man by Ralph Ellison, This Side of Paradise by Fitzgerald, The Odyssey, Romeo and Juliet
>She asks the students why they didn't like any of them and sort of agrees with their points
