Imagine what philosophy would look like if the Second Aristotle's works survived. This madlad wrote over 700 books, all of which are lost. Just skimming his surviving extracts and much of it anticipates the third Aristotle's works and even Schelling. It really is unfortunate. Couldn't it have been any other way. Was Leibniz wrong? is this actually the best of all possible worlds?
