Hello. I've just discovered a book called The Magus. It's apparently well reputed, but not so well known as to be on many charts or lists. Has anyone read this?

I usually don't come here or ask for recs from you all because I was an English major in college and have read way more than you all and am far smarter than every one of you, but sometimes I'm stumped.

I loved The Magus. Most unique book I've encountered in a while. Didn't think I could still find unique, fresh literature.

How is this a good book? So far it's just endless pages of a guy staring at fucking scenery. First 30 pages were OK because he was fucking a girl, then dumps her. After that though, endless pages of rambling. I'm at about page 120 and it's just shit.
