Everything in life is about sex and make no mistake about it, there is no counter point to this argument.
Everything we do, we do to lay women.
Consider this example, imagine embarrassing yourself in a public situation. The shame stems from the fact that there might be a good looking women who will never sleep with you due to the embarrassing incident.
Consider another example, when you fall down the societal ladder, the misery is not caused by our need to be better then everyone else, but rather it would limit the women you can sex with due to your position in society.
The before mentioned example can be applied to every asepct of our lives. Everything we do is to maximize our chance to have sex. Consciously and sub-consciously.
There might be exceptions from this list(chads and asexuals) but for most men, this is simply the reality, no matter how much try to argue against it
