Could you recommend me some books similar to Prometheus Rising? I like books discussing consciousness, perspective, words, reality, and how we think with a mystical life-affirming perspective. Similar books include Mind Power: The Secret of Mental Magic, The Master Key System, and Mind to Matter. I guess we could dub these books as Western Occultism.

If you still demand specific book recommendations, my pick would be The Road, so you can vividly watch a woman be weak and fuck over a man and boy by being so weak. A touch of misogyny does a body good at this stage of life, but don't dwell on it.

Can't recommend this highly enough. It gets speculative towards the end, but the first 75% of the book will change your life if you approach it with an open mind.

What does /lit/ think of the Eight-circuit model of consciousness?

Imo it's fascinating and it makes a lo of sense to me but it just seems to lack scientific rigour.

Do you think that due to the development of neuroscience it might gain more validity (or get trashed)?
