how would you define William Blake?

So up until recently I have never read poetry, but the other day one of my lecturers used a poem by William Blake to explain something, and since then I've been reading his works in my free time and enjoying them to bits. What are some other poets I may enjoy?

Blake was the greatest English poet to ever live. Prove me wrong.

Transforming the ideological into the supra ideological, he was literally a prophet of language itself.

Yeats may have been a mystic but Blake was the mystery.

The greatest poet of all time.

hey lit. teaching my first class tomorrow (shakespeare). name games are fucking stupid, but i really should learn your names. i was thinking about doing that one where the person to my left says their name, then the person to the left of them says their name and the name of the person before them, and so on.

do you have a better idea? or should i just skip it and throw caution to the wind?

Why the hell do people pronounce the last word there 'symmetree', isn't it obvious that it should be pronounced 'symmetrie', with the rhyme and all?

Blake, I am enjoy both the prophesies and lyrical poems. I came to appreciate him after reading Northrop Frye's criticisms.
