I'm skeptical of that. It seems like virtually every value that finds its basis in toughness and perseverance is, today anyway, right-wing. Whereas, the left wing seems focused on the victem/victemizer paradigm to the exclusion of everything else. Is that not thin skin? It feels like all the people who replied "based" to this are doing the same kind of shit as people who go "my countries the best because its the one I'm a member of; not to mention, I have no clue about virtually any other country".

I want to learn about contemporary logic. This will be done as a means to increase my philosophical understanding and at a later date, to learn game theory. Where is the best place to begin? I've heard people mention Alfred Tarski.
