A2 is meme level. i know most people know a good amount of english, however, but no german so much, nor french. my mom took french classes in highschool but did retain any of it (she's bilingual though - scando-language + english). she didn't retain any polish from her parents.

i live in muttland where you need to take one, but no on learns anything. in europe, people only really learn english. they always forget the french or german they learned (based from person experiences and family)
