For as long as I remembered, I hated the state of being human. I hate the fact that I have to use the bathroom, eat, and have sexual urges. My only real desire is apotheosis. Any philosopher that dealt with this?

I just finished my math degree and I'm taking a gap year before I go to grad school. My tips would be to get involved in clubs that interest you and really just be yourself in order to attract the right type of people. I didn't live on campus, I commuted, but I still managed to make a bunch of friends that were into philosophy and literature.

The most important part of a friendship is the emotional connection, if you fail to establish this, then your relationship will be superficial and vain, but once the emotional connection is established, you will prosper.
