I get the point behind his post, I really do.
What I take issue with is this retardedly simplistic way he put it, presenting it in terms that one uses to describe a raid in some shitty MMO, not characters motivation (or in this case authors social ineptitude).
"Should have leveled up some more lmao!" is insulting to everyone's intelligence here (excluding litrpgayers and chinkshitters).
At least redditors put effort in their posts. I stumbled upon one of many "Denna is not a whore and Kvothe is not a cuck you meanies" posts there and it's paragraph after paragraph of the worst possible mental gymnastics trying to hand wave away the obvious. That dumbass did not just post "lol should have taken a few levels in pimping" and called it a day.
