I think I prefer typing out the second draft to trying to go straight into the first one. I end up with a lot of insertions and notes for where I'm headed that don't quite work out with a physical manuscript. Otherwise, yeah. Editing is so much more straightforward and all your edits are nondestructive. I like the permanence when I go into a draft and have to commit to changes.

Does writing off the dome lead anywhere? I'm going to find out but I figure I may as well ask anyway. I've never done it as a prolonged exercise.
