His books on John Adams and 1776 are worth reading, too many important things happened in 1775 and 1776 for America that one or two books can never do them complete justice, but his are worthy I'd say.

Any books that cover what other major empires were doing at the time of the American Revolution and what their politics were surrounding it? I'm particularly interested in what the Chinese/Japanese were doing

David McCullough’s 1776

Any other good history books? I recently read 1776 by McCullough and it was very good for a history book. I also read Conquistador by Buddy Levy recently and that was dope.
