I want to live like a happily frugal lumpenpatrician, living a simple, healthy and unobliged life of doing as I please. Being on welfare and reading good books contribute to that goal tremendously.

Shiggy fucking diggy. People getting coaxed into fighting other people's wars or the like are like people leaping from a burning building because the flames hurt more than the drop. Heroicism is just being too cowardly to resist self-sacrifice. Even parents who give their lives for their children would be far worse off if they didn't do so, because they would have to live with being the cunt that wouldn't give their lives for their children.

That said, psychological egoism as a theory doesn't mean anything since it's infallible. There isn't an act I can't ascribe to selfishness and there are no criteria whatsoever to anything ever.
