Just ask God, if He is real, to guide you into the truth - and, in case you are subconsciously afraid or resistant to that truth (whatever it may be), ask Him, if He is real, to purify your intentions, open your mind, and give you courage. Then, go on a hero's journey.

It really isn't so difficult, as long as you are honest with yourself. If you are dishonest to yourself, just keep asking God, if He is real, to form you into a version of yourself who is open to His guidance.

the bedrock of atheism is the assumption that science has disproven anything which is not limited to newtonian billiard ball atomic mechanical ideations of reality. as science has progressed, however, we have realized how very little we understand. yet, through the ages, every generation is assured that their current scientific understanding is the final word on the subject, the ultimate attainment, the highest truth. and then those assumptions are shattered by new discoveries. over, and over, and over again.

science, as it stands, cannot prove, or disprove "god".

Rupert has been attempting to create a public debate with Richard Dawkins for many years now. Dawkins will debate orthodox catholic priests but not an esteemed scientist? Seems fishy. If doubt were to be cast on his book empire, he has some serious money to lose.
