Yes. The Prince of Nothing is the greatest set of books no one has ever read.

I just read the first three books of this series and thought they were amazing. Does anyone else have any thoughts on the books, and has anyone read the first book of the next series that can tell me if its as good?

I'll stick to the Fantasy that comes out on a regular basis and doesn't run scared from the Magical elements of the genre.

Did someone put in an order for the works of a PhD Philosophy aspirant who walked out to write genre fiction? Because that's what I -think- I heard. Here's an excerpt from an interview R. Scott Bakker did a few years back that the portion of /lit/ which will dismiss it out of hand ought to consider:

Has anyone read R Scott Bakker's Prince of Nothing series? It's some of the best world-creation I've ever read and the main character is Jesus with mind control powers. Shit rocks.

Is it me or was anyone else able to finish this? I very much enjoyed the epilogue but 3-5 chapters in, it seems to be very dull and boring....is it overrated or does it just start slow.
