Does the /lit/ quarterly accept philosophical essays as well? My friend wrote a pretty decent article on the Hegelian undercurrents of postmodernism, and the Deleuzian influence upon modern economics

I want to get into philosophy but I've read just a small amount of books in general, so I don't know if I'll be able to infer most of the stuff philosophers write about. Should I try to start with the greeks or what?

None of you understand Deleuze except me

Does anyone actually 'understand' philosophy, or is it all just a reflecting board for our own ideas? So much of it is so abstract and slippery it seems not even the author always has a singular or 'objective' understanding of what they are saying.

I think philosophy is more akin to dance, or sex, or gladiatorial combat than the rational sciences it likes to disguise itself as.

I am not fond of the way he formulates his arguments

It's very dirty, though he makes certain assumptions, though this is just because he is a postmodernist.
