So what do you guys think of the Wheel of Time? I know the internet is kinda split about it, half hating it with all the passion they can muster, while the other half loves with an equal amount of fervor.

I just read through all 14 books in about a month and a half and I have to say that i really enjoyed it and found it to be really good. True, the pacing does slow a bit in the middle (which i'm sure is far worse when waiting years in between books as opposed to me reading them in succession) but I honestly didn't feel it slowed down that much. The world is massively detailed, Jordan managed to cram a shitton of allusions to folklore in, and looking back from book 13 the amount of foreshadowing he's had from book 1 is pretty much astounding. He also managed to have some pretty disturbing scenes throughout the books, and the fact that he served two tours of duty in 'Nam certainly helped the combat scenes. Overall I really liked it, far more than ASOIAF, and I'm excited for the last book. So e/lit/es, where do you stand on these books?

There is only a few requirements to do it successfully, or at least to the point where you are almost never called out on the fact that you are actually a lonely man masturbating in his basement:

1. Good grammer (Women are generally considered more proper and well spoken in chats)
2. A working knowledge of female anatomy (Know your periods and cup sizes, people!)
3. Never, EVER admit to lying (That makes you a liar.)
4. Have some photos ready in various states of dress (Clothed, Facebook style pics to lure them into your web of lies and then nudes to forever ensnare them)
5. A decent memory for the lies you've told them (See 3)
6. Know your prey and it's habits ("You dont hunt for lions in Detroit" and other platitudes)

These are not all of the rules, but they are the ones I feel are important.
