Do any of you know how I can improve my reading comprehension? I don't mean the kind where you read a few pages and then explain what happened like they made us do in gradeschool, but having the ability to go through an entire book and then recall and be able to explain what went on in it. I can generally come up with a vague summary, but a lot of the time I forget events and misremember things, and I'm wondering if there is a way to help me improve on this that doesn't involve just re-reading the book.
