i am begging you, recommend me some interesting fantasy to read. nothing can keep my attention these days, i'm just re-reading random ASOIAF chapters
for a rough idea of what i like, some of what i've read
>ASOIAF (loved it)
>all of First Law (loved the first trilogy and 2 of the 3 standalones, second trilogy dropped the ball, but was still fun)
>Bakker's first trilgoy (liked it, but didn't feel compelled to continue)
at the moment i'm contemplating trying: A Shadow in Summer, Gwynne's works, Gavriel Kay's works, Traitor Son, Between Two Fires, New Sun
don't recommend me Sanderson, i've read Mistborn and the man can't write dialogue to save his life

Can any of you recommend a book (fiction or philosophic) that is aimed at or discusses loss of enthusiasm for life and how to get it back? Basically I'm at a dead end in my life and work. I'm have decent employment but it's not what I thought it would be and everything is stale. I need something that will motivate me, either a philosophic work that'll remind me what life is about or a story that will encourage me to live life again.

Basically got my dream job but turns out it is not what I thought it would be and I hate it now, I always wanted to do what I'm doing now ever since I was a kid and I absolutely hate it. I have everything I could ever want in life and am somehow unsatisfied.

What I dislike most about leftists is their insincerity, they can never argue in good faith. That is if they're willing to pretend to discuss anything with you in the first place, they're quite adverse to debate and questioning.

This looks interesting.
