Anons how do I tell someone who thinks your writing is really good but You know it isn't?

I'm speaking of people who are amature at writing or people who don't know much about how to make a good story or what is a good story. or them just being very young

Yes I am great *for a beginner* how do I explain to them that my writing is not ready for the world or publishing?

Is there a better way to do this with my process?

First I write down some "idea drafts" (Vigettes at random points in the story)
Then once i can get a start middle and end I write an "Outline" (A summery of the story for me to work off of)

Then I write more "idea drafts" from that outline and get a feel for the characters and edit the outline until the plot is right and I have a good feel for the characters

Then I write the first draft whitch would be just editing prose and diolog.

Is there a better way of doing this?
