The problem is that you see meaning at all, in anything. That it is a story. That it must begin somewhere and end somewhen. You have this paradigm, and you compare things, your life, events etc. against it. They don't match the paradigm, they don't mean anything - to you. It's like hearing a different language, or a bird song, or a rumble of falling rock. You can try and think and observe these things to see what they 'may' mean, but what you will be doing in these cases is trying to expand your paradigm to include these events, not uncovering 'meaning' (e.g. that person was bargaining for a rug, that bird was expressing his happiness, there must have been an animal on the hill that caused the small landslide..., etc.)

You made all that up. Or rather not you in isolation, but the culture and language you were born in has these misconceptions way down deep in its logic.

The 'world' does not 'mean'. 'Mean' in relation to what paradigm?

The fact that you find meaning in the world says nothing about the world, only about you. The fact that you think there should be meaning (but you are worried there may not be) STILL says nothing about the world (it never could) -

But it does show that you are full of shit, there is meaning in your life, and you are just an ignorant self-mind-fucked sorry bastard.
