MONDAY
Hey diary, it's me. I got a diary for my birthday and this is my first entry. I'm 32 today. mom got me a stupid kindle aswell but I wanted the new nook, stupid whore never does anything right I know she hates me. I shouted at her then came to 4chan and made an angry post about how ereaders suck. but it was full of trolls, everyone is a idiot.

TUESDAY
Hi, it's me again. I didn't do much today, I mainly spent the day on 4chan. The bank called and said I need to pay off my overdraft. I am going to open another account and use the overdraft from that to pay off the minimum repayment leaving me with $250, woo hoo. I did some more work on my novel its an existential postmodern novel about exisential postmodernism.

WENSDAY
Hey diary. I feel so close to you, it's like you know all of my secrets. I wen't to a bookstore today and bought infinite jest. DFW sucks I can't understand anything in it, so I went to 4chan and made an angry post using the picture of Harold bloom. I love Harold bloom, he is my favourite..umm.. continental philosopher. I told mum all about philosophy like how there was a guy called niezstczhe who believed god died, she told me how clever I was. Stupid mom, she doesn't know that I'm actually a geneous.

THURSDAY
Hello diary, me again. I oppened a new account today. I went and bought books by derider, witgensein, keyerkergard, dosteyovsky, bukovsky, neetsxzcje, and albert camoo. Then I made a thread on 4chan about my books and this one guy said "good job" I feel more intelligent with my books now. I told mum that Im going to be a famous existentialist by mixing marksism and post-modernism.

Does /lit/ keep a daily journal?

I just went to the local book store and got myself one.

Also, any tips for keeping a journal?

Any writers on this board? Personally I just want some helpful tips on how to remain consistent. There's days where I feel like I don't want to write at all, but it bugs me at the back of my mind that I SHOULD be working on that novel instead of loafting around. The most successful writers are the ones who write 10,000 words a day or at least write daily at a consistent rate. I need help with overcoming my laziness on it.
