/int/ is a shithole

What's the /lit/ way of learning a language? I want to start learning French as a side project. That would be my fourth language, but the first one where I actually sit down and learn it, because the others kinda flew to me.

What's a good approach? Where do I even start? Language learning general I guess.

Yesterday I picked up Tonio Kröger. Instantly felt nostalgia because I've read Mann before (more than a few years ago) and it seems like that feeling clicks in my brain when I glance over his prose.

I got to the part where he writes about loving but not being loved back. Checkmate.

jobs aren't supposed to be fulfilling, fulfillment comes from everything you form around that job, like when you are working to feed your family, at that point it doesn't matter what you do, but it matters greatly that you wake up early every day and do it (this is a low hanging example), I don't understand people who find fulfillment in a damn job, be it a doctor, lawyer or engineer, they must have swallowed some happy pills
