Hmm. I see. The Instructions, a 1,400 page postmodern books is for kids? Alright. I would hate to see what you think of Harry Potter, or another childrens' series.

After months banging on about wanting it, I gave up after 130 pages (of small print, though). The prose was boring, the characters were boring, the plot was boring. Well, I now have 3 other 19th century 'classics' to read through, which should I read? Our Mutual Friend, The Idiot, and White Fang and the Call of the Wild. I'm leaning towards The Idiot, since I enjoyed Crime and Punishement, but I'm not sure. Help me, /lit/.

Not quite so into it as last year, when I read dozens of books from it, but it's still great. What's your favourite genre?

The Locked Room - Paul Auster

Decent, although too short and a little inconclusive.

Super-troll. Asimov was an amazing writer, almost all of his novels and short stories are good, quite a few great. His only weakness was his characters, although some were decent.
