It is difficult to escape from the moralizing especially if you a worker because conditions were pretty disgusting. You had 5 year old children working in factories and women essentially being sex slaves.

It was pretty horrible, worse than any kind of slavery in existence. I don't know how the Nietzscheans can suggest being "against it" from a moral standpoint is from a result of resentiment. Resentiment would be envy, that you actually want to exploit people in this way but you can't because you are powerless. However labour opposed this kind of treatment of any human beings full stop.
