Just finished pic related, it was good but rolled straight into the second book. Does anyone who's read this series have any insight on whether it's gonna end at 3, or is it scope creeping to endless novels?

For anyone who hasn't read it, it's basically told through stories, and the setting has roughly six disparate countries and colors built around "blessings" which are abilities to control a certain element. Long but well paced and I never felt like it was dragging, but book 1 is definitely not stand alone, as it just sorta ends.
