She's Sanderson's idea of a "witty," or sassy woman. I don't think he has actually met a woman he ever found intelligent or funny, so this is what he wrote.

Not coming at him with bad faith, but how the fuck did anyone read Sanderson when he was a no-one and think "this is good writing?" I understand that people read him for the world building and fantasy systems, but I've read passages as simple as "X attacks group of skeletons, they surround him, X slashes the chest of one skeleton".
