Yeah, start with classics here's my recommendations:

1) Shakespeare's Tragedies
2) Divine Comedy by Dante (At least Inferno)
3) Chaucer's Divine Comedy
4) Don Quixote by Cervantes
5) Jane Austen's Complete Novels (like 5 books)
6) The Charterhouse of Parma by Stendhal
7) Paradise Lost by Milton
8) Faust by Goethe
9) Poems of John Donne
10) Poems of Wordsworth
11) Dickens' Great Expectations and Bleak House (if u like him, read all of him)
11) Moby DIck
12) In Search of Lost Time by Proust
13) Novels of Tolstoy
14) Novels of Dostoevsky

I'd probably start with Jane Austen or Dickens and then move onto Shakespeare and Chaucer. Chaucer and Shakespeare will be slow going but you will improve your reading comprehension.

He's nothing compared with Met. Ioannis Gopnik, the British-Amernian metropolitan of sussex who wrote Verse-plays about Orthodox theology in the 19th century.
