I like how when people say Liberal it does not really mean the same thing in Europe and America or even different parts of Europe.

Or Centre-right in my country is more equal to centre-left in another.
Or left? Left freedom or authoritarian? Right freedom or authoritarian.
And people always have their own ideas of what something includes from drugs, prostitution, law enforcement rights, and everything else.
So it tells us so very little in the end.
