How many in those cars ever stepped back and looked at the big picture, as I suddenly felt compelled to? I would never fully understand a single one of those people, or see the world as they do, not if I spent the rest of my life in that person's company. The world has a population of seven billion people. Everyone has a story, and no two stories are the same. Everyone sees him or herself as the protagonist of his or her own personal drama.

I seemed to see, superimposed over the view from that bus window, two other vistas in my mind's eye. The same beautiful landscape - One with no signs of humanity - wilder, greener, more primeval. The other image showed that landscape further developed, with factories and a wider highway, and the lights of a sprawling silver city stretched like a spider's web over it all.

Hey guys, do you know of a people or a language, in which there is not the word freedom? I've already googled and nothing... need a single language, even dead one.

Hey /lit/. From a philosophical, economic and political standpoint, what is freedom? Why is it important or not? And the important one, can everyone have freedom? As a student I want to write an essay about it. But freedom seems like a utopia that you cant reach. If everyone is free, you can do what ever you want. But then others will use their freedom to oppress others, and steal away others freedom, making them un-free.
What is freedom to you, and how can we assure that everyone is free?

I have stated throughout this thread that I do not deny the existence of psychopathic individuals.

What I do disagree with is their execution, however thank you for trying to reduce this debate with a crude, supposedly emotional image.

The person who has been wronged will be biased through their emotions.

I never said "find your friends", I said "talk to your friends".

For example, I know that there is no point in trying to engage in a conversation with CLT, but there is with people like Anonymous Euronymous.

Also, it makes it easier to resurrect past conversations because people recognise you.

The bigger question is, why does it matter so much to you if a fraction of my posts are slightly different?
