>explain that the kids getting cancer thing is a blatant appeal to emotion and kids are just small people anyway and if anything their capacity to suffer is less than an adults and yet we revere them only due to our innate biases so his materialist position is inherently hypocritical since he probably places undue value on children
I got so heated in the moment I was just straight rambling for five minutes. I actually logged in to Facebook to see my inbox literally FILLED with hateful messages because xyz in the mess hall has some cousin who died of n. Do atheists do this on purpose to bait religious people or do they genuinely think the kids getting cancer thing is an argument against god?
