Am I a brainless for hating philosophers who pack way too much verbiage into their ideas and thoughts on perspective, the self, and reality? Like I was reading some stuff from Žižek about "the real" and subjects, and I just kept thinking "does this guy really just sit there wasting his time imaginating something that he has no posible way of figuring out, or knowing and just throws out words like quantum physics, real real, symbolic order, Parallax even though they have no meaning being being verbose, or worse are mutilated scientific concepts."

Seriously am I just not listening and thinking I'm the correct mindset, or am I actually reading the nonsense ramblings of an insane clueless homeless person put into the form of literature?

Kant's Critique of Pure Reason. I don't consider it obscure or pretentious, I only read it because I was taking a philosophy class (well, my third to be precise). Maybe it was just a turgid 19th century translation, but the sheer unreadability of this book convinced me that I did not, in fact, want to minor in philosophy, and though I passed the class I never took another philosophy class after it.
