anon there's bigger fish to fry then worrying about dildos being used as sleep aids by putting them in baby carriages
if it works then fine, just take it out when he's like 3 or 4 and doesn't need it anymore

Video games
Hear me out okay. So every medium of art try’s to evoke something in you, whether it be a pleasant feeling or not. However, all mediums have the separation from reality, and thus lessening the message it tries to convey. Video games however, rather than making you an observer, make you a participant. You’re actions will influence the story, and thus itge consequences will not be put on your character but you the player
A good example of this type of storytelling is spec ops the line.
However on the positive side you can personally build relationships with characters and actually see them as people rather then text or actors, thus making the game more engaging and emotionally investing. Telltale’s the walking dead season 1 and Lisa the painful do this greatly
Finally you have the experience part. Anyone can read the Iliad and mythology or watch an amazing drama or horror but the thrill will eventually subside and you will return to a base level of emotions by the next chapter or hour. A video game can make you live out those experiences though. The adrenaline of being a one man army against an army of foes, the anxiety of not knowing what may kill you around the next corner in a horror game, the success you feel by actually solving a puzzle or case in order to progress the story
You have your simple action games for a power trip like halo or hotline Miami but for horror you have the ever so classical silent hill games and a newer game called dark wood, for the mental stimulation you have puzzle games like portal and such but for solving mysteries you have l.a. noire and the phoenix Wright games

Not lore or stuff like that
I’m taking about the history and guides on making games from level design to programming.
