The meme "start with the Greeks" is true because every philosopher has read them, and you'll be missing out if you skip the Greeks.

I would honestly prefer Buddhism over Egoism; essentially, the entire eradication of the ‘self’ seems much better than the pursuit of fickle self-interests perpetuated by the ego in the first place.

I know some people try to take Egoism to the next level, but it just doesn’t work. The ancient knowledge and sciences through religion, whether it be Abrahamic or Dharmic or anything in between, is of much more value in terms of sustenance compared to modern ‘philosophies’.

I know people like Nietzsche think Christianity is a slave religion, however the case is that only Christ can save us. The eradication of the self, or the constant struggle for the satisfaction of the self, has hitherto been the best case against Christ: however, it has not worked. Christ has prevailed, and Christ will continue to prevail as is Christ’s nature. The modern century philosophers has crucified Christ and laid Him in His tomb, it is now time for Him to rise again. Hallelujah! Come quick, Lord Jesus. Amen.

It's funny just how much I could agree with Stirner when reading Der Einzige und sein Eigentum, i'm about halfway through the book, helped me accept my individuality, or should I say "My unique".

I've got nothing left to lose; and besides, if you knew the first thing about Evola's definition of 'Tradition' then you'd know it's anything but nostalgia. He would dismiss the nostalgia you're thinking of, or rather, the things people would be nostalgic about, as 'bourgeois residues'. Under the Evolian definition of Tradition, I could create a new art form tomorrow and could easily be *more* traditional than those of the 18th century, for example, provided it was true to the eternal and metaphysical values entailed in 'Tradition'.

I am the conservative with nothing left to conserve, and so I will laugh as everything goes to shit. I've got everything to gain; and as demonstrated, all sides of the aforementioned argument are at my mercy.
