/lit/ - Literature

I’m about 75% of the way done with this series (Book of the New Sun). Saw it recommended on here and really like it. Prior to this it’s been years since I read anything so now I’m getting back into reading. Where should I go after this? More Gene Wolfe or are there other great sci fi books I should go to? Doesn’t have to be sci fi btw

Finished Book of the New Sun today. Amazing read but i feel like I barely scratched the surface, as the latter events recontextualizes so much of the earlier parts of the novel.
Tried reading the first chapter again, and having a better grasp of the setting and vocabulary already makes it a whole new beast. Also tried listening to Alzabo Soup for that chapter, w/c laid to light some vital nuances and motivations I would have missed otherwise.

Now I'm at a tri-fork of the road, do I:
>continue the reread w/ the podcast companion
>continue with Urth of the New Sun before the reread
>Finish the rest of Solar Cycle before the reread

How did /lit/ read the series? How would you recommend going through jt?

I've read very few but they're all bangers so far. Here's my ranking.
1. Book of the New Sun+Urth
2. Dune 1-4
3. Hyperion
4. Roadside Picnic
5. I Have no Mouth and I Must Scream
That's all I've read. I highly recommend all of these. I'm going to finish Dune 5 and 6 then move onto Neuromancer.

I just looked and it's only included in the kindle version. If you're going digital, then you might as well just download the books on libgen and save yourself the money.
