I am a young white virgin homosexual that happens to have social anxiety. People just assume I am hetero and I have lost count of how many times I have been shamed for being a virgin or have poor abilities to interact with women. I so far lived a regular life, as have women around me, yet they have opportunities thrown at them. I don't understand why feminism is still a thing desu

I feel I am under attack by mainstream narratives. I am being marginalized, alienated. Demographic replacement is a reality, I feel my society has no future for my ideals, my culture, race.
The future will be characterized by homogenization, the gigantic, the destruction of the environment, globalization, world governament, until everything gets destroyed and it goes on floating in the void until the end of times. Is this the future you envision, leftists?

>used to be a leftist when younger because of my upbringing
>eventually got into right wing communities online, some of their talking points resonated with me
>start becoming attracted to the fringes of the right (alt right, etc)
>I would see their propaganda constantly, with their fashwave aesthetics
>images of the Greek world, it's beautiful architecture and perfect sculptures
>"Western civilization invented science, philosophy, defend Europe, let's restore it's glory!" Etc
>Faustianism, "we will explore the space, reach beyond human limits!"
>finally decide to start reading books in the hope I would get more redpilled
>asked in this board for recommendations on books about right wing thought
>some anon sent me a Guénon chart and told me to get into traditionalism
>I fell for the meme and read the first part of "Introduction to Hindu doctrines"
>Guénon talks about how the Greeks didn't understand metaphysics or even their own traditions (that turned into conventions, "the gods of the city", etc)
>that the Greeks were the first cosmopolitan society
>they were so superficial (in their affinity for forms, etc) that instead of focusing on primordial metaphysical principles they were into "pratical" and material stuff
>they invented science because they simply misunderstood everything
>they are to be blamed for the materialism, pathological faustianism and meaninglessness of modern society
>philosophers like Heidegger seem to agree with Guénon about this

I feel I have been lied to, lit. Please enlighten me on this topic

I see opposite narratives all the time and I don't know what one is right.

Here are some of the narratives I see and some names I associate them with.

1 - The world is becoming better
>Everyone is getting richer and living better lives because of the free market and Western values
> Walter Scheidel

1.1 - We don’t need religion anymore
>reason, humanism, enlightement values, etc.
>Sam Harris, Steven Pinker, etc
1.2 – We still need religion or at least religious values
>Jordan Peterson
1.3 - We don’t need Western values at all
>communists, anarchists, etc

2 - The world is becoming worse

2.1 – Civilization is going to collapse
2.1.1 - It is going to collapse because of scarse resources and environmental damage
>Pentti Linkola, environmental activists
2.1.2 - the west is going to fall apart because of mass immigration, low birth rates, etc
>far right

2.2 – Civilization is evolving into a distopic future
2.2.1 – The cause is technology
>Ted Kaczynski
2.2.1 – The cause is the state becoming totalitarian
>libertarians, classic liberals
2.2.2 – The cause is degeneracy
>Evola

My goal is to understand the foundations of the western world, essentially. And them read critiques to these foundations, by thinkers like Heidegger and Evola.
After analyzing the foundations, I plan to seek data about the current state of the world, and decide what narrative is most accurate/probable. I will then decide if I should become a engaged and productive citizen with some political orientation, or a survivalist riding the tiger and waiting civilization to collapse.

I will start by reading the Greeks and studying the history of Western philosophy.

This guide seems to be nice.

But I am alarmed. The author states:
>I am a Marxist and an atheist
So I am a bit suspicious. I don't want to become some materialistic degenerate.

What should I do, /lit/?

How I get into reading Heidegger?

I have never read any philosophy at all, just the first book of The Gay Science by Nietzsche. Very interesting. But I can't get beyond the first pages of "Being and Time"

I don't want to read any Greeks or other works, my goal is to understand what is being, his critique of modern thought and technology, and his thoughts on language. And ultimately, act in a better way

I already read https://braungardt.trialectics.com/philosophy/philosophers/heidegger-made-simple/ but there is a lot here that I don't understand - mostly nomenclature and references to other philosophers. I wonder if I can understand his works just by life experience
