Thank you again
I think I could elaborate a bit more on the rest of the characters and Ellison's intentions with this story, but it may well lead into projection. In fact, I might already be seeing more than there really is in it.
I'm a bit disappointed that the question's OP did not come here to explain himself after catching my attention like this

If you have your own interpretation or think I missed something please write it out, I'm here to read it

I couldn't stand being in a place like that: I'm already salty enough. Ha-haaaa. We have fun here.

I prefer paper books, but i simply cannot afford them. I have no intention of borrowing from the library because having a limited time window within which i have to read a book spoils my enjoyment of it. So whenever I have the chance, I buy a paper one, but it's not something i can do every day.

I agree with >>11014240
but I simply have to use it

>and it's nothing short of some of the most profound stuff out there that I've come across

I wanted to rage at the ridiculousness of this statement but then I remembered that Cliff is just a yuppie huckster using lit as a means of self-branding toward impressionable middlebrows. Close call.

Your post started off well enough then it slowly turned into you trying to intellectually absolve yourself over not understanding something that well. You don't even see it either, do you?

>favorite work of literature is the television series E7.

Your finely choreographed "gee shucks" humility is fucking nauseating. Your favourite work of literature is a TV show? Fuck off, cunt.

>And before you say Start with the Greeks, know that I find them unbearable Not saying they're bad, it's just that I can't force myself to read them.

Most of the really choice stuff you're gonna learn about Plato is done through secondary lit. The main Platonic corpus is important but you are going to be relying on that secondary lit even more.

You've been going about this wrong. Just keep reading.

>Suck dick, my man, I've never been to reddit.

It doesn't matter. You capture the faggotry of the site within your very spirit. When you decided to play the role of passive aggressive chastiser because you were secretly mad that a few complete strangers disagreed with your taste that was Reddit.

>Be an individual

What a passive aggressive pseud you are lmao literally get prolapsed faggot.

/lit/ I speak and read English and Italian perfectly and i know just enough spanish to understand what's going on in books. Once I become proficient with spanish what should I look for next ?
Which language do you think has the most literary works that require reading the original to truly and deeply understand them ? I'm willing to learn pretty much anything except overly complicated languages that would require me to put disporportionate amounts of time and effort into them(see japanese, indian or arabian). I figure this is the right place to ask.
