I like telling character centered stories, but some autistic part of me refuses to write in first person. I've even thought of making massive chapter-long monologues that are just "retellings" of events from the perspective character just to technically keep the story third person but still have first person elements. I hate it I hate it I hate it.

Any books which focus on concentration and focus/memory? My job makes me sit in front of a screen all day but I get easily tires and pick up my phone and I have an overall hard time to recall what I have read. My eyes are also tired all the time.

I dropped out of a top tier American school and came home for community college. Not on the same level as Oxford, but I get how you feel. All I can say is if you're smart enough to get into Oxford then you're really smart. It sounds like you have a lot of bad habits though. Work out, use less internet, get a job or volunteer in something that will keep you outside preferrably in nature. You were a little fish in a big pond; now you're a big fish in a little pond. Try reading non-edgelord occult stuff.
