I understand...time seemed to freeze at the beginning of 2020, and doesn't seem to have started moving again.
And now we have highly-transmissible monkeypox to contend with.
I'd better finish my post-collapse novel before it simply becomes the news.

I live in the Capital. I think Canada is what happens when you deterritorialize an entire nation. everyone is a well meaning simpleton who works for the government. No ambition, No sense of urgency or meaning, No identity beyond a Passport. I feel like an alien in an alien place like some sort of creature with a facsimile of the human form. I want to see my homeland accomplish big things and innovate like those whispers of the time we built the greatest plane the world saw. I'm going to leave when I graduate I see no future here just a slow descent into irrelevancy and mediocrity.
