What are you supposed to do if you don't particularly want much/anything in life? Are there any books or /lit/ that tackle this issue?

What is the goal that makes people work so hard or to aim to earn a lot for money, especially if you missed the boat to find a quality woman to truly grow with to start a family? I look around me and see what other people live for (like being a "foodie" or travel) and it honestly doesn't interest me or if I had experienced it already, I found it overrated. Nor do I strive for material goods as I own everything I want or like. I feel all these things are just another form of cheap (I guess expensive) desires that can never be truly satisfied. Just a bottomless pit where once you get it or do it, you just waiting for the next hit so to speak.

Thing is, I don't even feel depressed either. I've experienced that before in its true form and it was when I was chasing all those things. I figured all I really seem to care about now that gives me actual satisfaction is exercise, reading and tending to a small garden which is all relatively cheap things to do. Wtf is wrong with me? Am I just lazy? If so, what am I supposed to direct my efforts to?

So what exactly are you supposed to do or what is the alternative lifestlye option if you don't particularly want anything in life? I look around me and see what other people live for and it honestly doesn't interest me or if I had experienced it already, I found it overrated. All of my desires and pleasures are pretty simple and basic

Thing is, I don't even feel depressed either.

Which philosophers/authors can help me to become more rational? How to put aside my emotions and discern idiotic, self-created fallacies?

Ever get the feeling that everything you do is an act, that it is almost impossible to be sincere with yourself? Who am I? What am I? What the fuck is going on? I'm a midwit but I need some recommendations for lit that will turn me into a rational, stoic man and prevent me from devolving completely into some histrionic depressed bugman.

What's the point of trying to achieve greatness in a world where the deeply established powers can il/legally wall you out of trying to resolve societal and other world problems for the sake of their profit?
