I'm new to reading seriously, but, I'd like to know how I'm doing as far as quality goes.
In order of earliest read to latest read books:

>Flowers For Algernon
>Brave New World
>In The Mountains of Madness
>Paradise Lost (currently reading)

This, obviously, isn't everything I've read, but it's what I'd imagine would pass as decent literature here.
I'd appreciate suggestions but for the most part I'm going to look at the Recommended Reading for my next book choice.

This instantly became the greatest song I have listened to. The vocals and instruments sound well to my ears, and I believe discovering this years after I decided to become a 'scholar' on Tolkien's written works just really did it for me.

Do you have any other such experiences?
Music from movies based on a book you like?

Also I'm curious as to why you think of this song I have here, whether you're a fellow Tolkienist or no (that word is painful to use).

Pic unrelated, the only thing I could find with a book.

Genius, possibly mere brilliance and shining talent as well, will always be more abundant in men than in women. Perhaps this is Nature’s way of compensating men for their exclusion from the creative and imaginative art that is motherhood at its best, work that is superior to any endeavour in mere words or paint or scientific invention. All these things are ephemeral. Human beings are immortal.

I'm not quite sure how his life story and his battle with depression went, but Infinite Jest unreadable? Are you serious?

>Samus fell on her bed and was broken into tears. It was impossible. It was impracticial.
