Hungary is ethnically homogenous in the sense that most citizens have long lost their “native” cultural identity. There is no such thing as ethnically Hungarian. Hundreds of years of occupation, massacres that asked for immigration, mingling due to political convenience, etc. We’re mixed as fuck.
As I said I live in Budapest, and most of my friends can trace their ancestry back to Romania, Croatia, Slovakia, Ukraine, Germany, etc. We just don’t give a fuck. It doesn’t matter.
