I know this isn't even close to being the best book I've ever read, but it's my favorite.

I think this attitude is what really stuck with me. It's not common you see it in a book, without the characters being infallible Mary Sues.

Was cleaning my room and completely forgot I had the first two books in The Gentleman Bastard sequence, is this series worth investing my time in and what's the consensus of it on /lit/?

Eh, I know it has that whole heavily-worked-typical-fantasy-artwork thing going for it but I do think it's one of the much better examples. Pic sorta related.

If you started it before the show came out then no one would have called you a pleb, now that it is popular everyone here hates it.

Just read another fantasy series which is just as good as if not better that hasn't been made into a tv show yet.

If I liked Final Fantasy VI, will I like this?
