What are some interesting pre-2000s fantasy stories/series that have gone below the radar of the mainstream? I legit know like 8-12 stories and thats about it - Black Company, Dragonlance, Dark Tower, Terry Pratchets works etc. As you can see most of them are relatively mainstream.

But surely there were more? Asking this because I stumbled upon a fantasy story written in 92 that had like 2 reviews on goodreads - bought dirt cheap for like 1 dollar. That story ended up blowing me away.

This got me thinking though, how many unnoticed masterpieces are actually out there?
