Here's the thing. I want to read a lot of books. Yet, I also want to do a lot of this, and a lot of that. The problem is I have to still pay my dues like rent, phone, food, expenses, etc, etc. How does one go about balancing all this? I already feel like my time is taut to the max. How do intellectuals and those of the sort do it all? Sometimes I can see why some of the most revered thinkers and artists were poor paupers and ignoble men. Yet some others come out rich and able. What's the secret to it all? How do you balance everything you crave?

If I learn art I learn the fundamentals like perspective, anatomy, color theory etc. What are the fundamentals of writing?
