Anything on this list have good romance?
-I read The Eye of the World, but the gender interactions made me want to rip a sink off a wall.
-I tried reading The Dragon Prince, but the author was pretty obviously shoving her real world politics into the characters' mouths

-The Belgariad was good, but David Eddings seems to genuinely despise his kid hero and never lets him actually accomplish anything on his own. Which makes sense, I guess, considering he abused that kid he adopted.

Hi, lit. I see a lot of reccomend lists here, but I don't see one for writers in general yet. Can we make one? I really want to know what to read to get better at my craft by learning by example.

So I agree that this chart needs to be fixed. I don't think it should be removed because if you ignore about 4-5 authors the chart is decent and does seem useful. I'll either edit it or remake it removing the "bad" suggestions and maybe even add a few of my own.

I'm on the fence about Eddings and Fiest, not a fan but they might be appropriate under Entry Level

I obviously haven't read everything on it so I'd appreciate some input if you want to see something added or removed.
