I finished reading Kokoro now. Another sad one. Thanks for the rec again.
I guess I can see the similarities between it and death of a salesman, in regards to the ending. But I mean that's pretty much it as far as similarities goes. Even then it's a bit shaky. This book reminded me a lot of Norwegian Wood.
It's kinda hard to say what exactly I should take away from it. Don't be a coward? You should kill yourself to atone for any moral failings? But in the end it doesn't really seem to be for that reason.

Funny how all these losers and failures still end up with wives, and extremely loving ones at that... sigh
to be far she came at at price though I suppose
