again, it's not like the Chinese don't have a proven record of censorship, human rights violations, and all kinds of other shit of their own. they unquestionably do, and i don't want to put myself in the camp of being yet another dreamy fuckwit thinking that Real Communism Over There will work as a cure for what is fundamentally an insolvency in my own (and, frankly, pretty cool) country. i get all of that.
